Explore the wildlife of the Pacific Northwest with the digital Whale Watching Explorer Guidebook, available in multiple languages.

Learn about the orcas, humpback whales, gray whales, porpoises, seals, sea lions, birds and other animals you may encounter during your tour. Use the guidebook to recognize distinctive features and behaviors, including dorsal fins, whale blows, tail flukes, breaching and spyhopping.

Choose from topics covering conservation, navigating local waters, the region and how to help spot wildlife. You can also listen to information about the animals you may encounter, including resident and Bigg’s orcas, gray whales, humpback whales, minke whales, harbor seals and sea lions.
